Your First Presentation

Hello everyone,

Friday will be our first “Culture Show” day. Please come to class with any “small” traditional dish and prepare a 3/5-minute presentation on that dish. You need to include the following:

• Why did you choose this dish?

• Why is it a traditional dish for your home country?

• What are the ingredients?

          And

• How can we make it (recipe)?

You can dress-up or down, up to you 😉

Dictionaries and more!

Here are some great resource for dictionaries. Some dictionaries have Thesaurus features that you can use. 

Two of the dictionaries listed may be used in class. You can access them directly @ Cambridge Dictionaries Online and Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary.

You can also use Oxford Dictionaries and Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English.
